House of Cards
On February 27, 2015, Netflix, the online streaming movie giant, released the return of one of their most anticipated series with Season 3 of their hit political thriller "House of Cards". Featuring Golden Globe winners Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, this award winning show continues the story of Frank and Claire Underwood with their political machinations. The Drepung Loseling monks were invited to appear throughout an episode with the construction of a mandala sand painting. The mandala sand painting represents the nature of impermanence and as such plays a pivotal role in the storytelling. We certainly don't want to give away any spoilers for those of you who are super fans so we'll just leave you with a couple of screenshots!
